Although not a turn key solution the application can be customized to nearly any design and it is easily integrated with Authorize.net, PayPal, and a host of other payment methods. Server Requirements

The first thing that is required to get your E-Commere site up and running is the proper server configuration. Among server requirements are:

  • Web Hosting - Monster Web offers the perfect UNLIMITED solution
  • SSL Certificate - Monster Web offers an inexpensive but secure package
  • Shopping Cart - Monster Web uses the robust and configurable OsCommerce solution

This will get your site running but you will need a system which can manage all of the transactions that your site will be having. For this you will need the proper merchant requirements:
 

Merchant Requirements

With the above server setup you are ready to process orders however you will need the merchant requirements to actually complete the transaction. These requirements are the recommended setup for a completely automated system which you are solely in control over. Other methods include simply using PayPal which does not require the SSL Certificate (above).

  • Payment Gateway - Processes orders through a Merchant Accountant via the Internet
  • Merchant Account - A local bank account or online bank account for direct deposit
